THREE DAYS OF PRAYER FOR AMERICA’S 2022 MIDTERM ELECTIONS:

Day One, Sunday, November 6, 2022:

LORD, we cry out to You! Make haste and give ear to our voices as we cry in Your presence. Let our prayer be set before You as incense, the lifting of our hands as the evening sacrifice.

Set a guard, O LORD, over our mouths; keep watch over the door of our lips. Do not incline our heart to any evil thing—to practice wicked works with those who work iniquity. And do not let us partake of their deceitful delicacies.

If our thoughts and choices for this election are not following Your holy will, O LORD, let the righteous correct and rebuke us—it shall be kindness and as excellent oil. Let our heads not refuse it.

For still our prayer is against the deeds of the wicked. So, therefore, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, let Your people, O LORD, overthrow their judges, representatives, senators, governors, school boards, et al., in every position and every race. Let them all be defeated by those who will do Your will for our cities, states, and nation.

Father GOD, only You can do this, and our eyes are upon You. For in You, O GOD our Lord, we take refuge. Do not leave our souls destitute.

Keep us from the snares they have laid and the traps of the workers of iniquity. Let the wicked fall into their own nets—while we escape safely.[1]

LORD God, the election results are in Your Almighty Hand. In our flesh, we who love and honor You ask for You to bring Your people victory and deliverance from the evil sweeping our country.

Father, we pray in Jesus’ name for the good of all Americans. Accomplish Your Holy Will with this election—expose the lies, bring evildoers to justice, and allow Your Truth to saturate our nation.

Yet again, O LORD, not our will but Yours alone be done. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, and our All in All, we pray, Amen.

[1] Prayer based on Psalm 141
